Responsibilities include:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email. Provide accurate information to customers, providing requested information and alternative solutions as available. If questions are beyond the scope of the Reps knowledge, they will advise the customer, and offer to research the answer
  • Obtain complete and accurate customer contact information and other details as necessary. Enter all information in Prospect database
  • Perform a follow up contact by email and/or phone
  • Provide assistance to customers completing online orders; when possible process orders directly to insure accurate orders. Confirm all information, and strive for accurate professional entries. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork
  • Develop cross-selling and up-selling techniques
  • Perform other sales functions including but not limited to outbound sales campaigns via phone, email, or mail

Ongoing Training and Education:

  • Attend and be involved in Sales Training meetings to learn product knowledge and sales techniques. Work together to initiate concepts and ideas which provide a solution for communication and sales needs
  • Obtain product knowledge through Training Sessions, reading our web pages, consulting with the Director of Sales and/or other Sales Reps, and general research of product literature and product websites. Become familiar with all products
  • Stay current with trends and technology by reading journals and by attending classes, seminars, trade shows and workshops

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Two or more years of inside sales experience is preferred
  • Two or more years of college education is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Superb communication skills with the ability to relate well with others
  • Basic computer skills - Internet, Windows, Word, Outlook, Web Applications
