Was a good stepping stone on outside sales and marketing. Building a team of sales people and providing customer service as needed to every new and existing member.

Overall great workplace for students or individuals in need of flexibility. As a supervisor I was in charge of ensuring a smooth day to day operation of my department. Provided schedules and delegate duties.

FITNESS CONSULTANT (Former Employee) –  Beaverton, ORJune 8, 2017
24 Hour Fitness has a good easy pace for those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. The pay is sub par until you get to management and then you can really make some good money.

Personal Trainer (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAJune 7, 2017
I would not recommend working at 24 Hour Fitness. They do not pay nearly as much as their employees deserve. I still love working out but I would never work there ever again.
Pros
Free membership
Cons
low pay, average management, repetitive work

Inspiring place to work.
PERSONAL TRAINER (Former Employee) –  Hermosa Beach, CAJune 7, 2017
Inspiring place to work. Healthy, fun environment. Good, helpful co workers. Helpful management. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with the clients, training them, teaching them and seeing the results they achieved. Seeing the clients happy, healthy, and reaching their fitness and weight goals was very rewarding for them and for me as their trainer.
Pros
Free lunches sometimes.
Cons
No healthcare.

Service Representative - Overnight (Former Employee) –  Coconut Grove, FLJune 7, 2017
The job duties were fairly easy and not a problem to complete. The environment was he main problem which was a result of poor management and supervision.

Favoritism was shown constantly by the supervisor and hey failed to complete their responsibilities which were being passed on to the employees.

Unreliable staffing was a major problem which was supposed to be addressed numerous and no disciplinary action was taken to provide any result.

Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  Redmond, WAJune 6, 2017
Are used to really enjoy working here. There is not a lot of work life balance and managing young employees really takes a toll on you. I'm definitely looking for something more I can advance my leadership knowledge and communication skills without all of the retail drama.

Sales Representative Night (Current Employee) –  The Woodlands, TXJune 4, 2017
Whether you're working overnights or days, you will be busy and basically the face of the company. The hardest part about going to the gym is getting there and a step further is going and being remembered and appreciated by the staff and people who see you regularly. Very important to keep up appearances and stay on top of things.
Pros
Free Membership with job
Cons
Hours and Advancement are difficult

Very fun and out going job. you hear a lot of life stories and talk to a lot of different people. you're able to change lives, you're selling a gym membership not something materialistic. you're investing in your health.
Pros
free 24 hour gym membership, 15% discount on food, drinks, and clothes.
Cons
you end up being a gym head and it gets difficult to leave the gym.

Assistant Operations Manager (Former Employee) –  North Hollywood, CAJune 3, 2017
Each day was a new experience. You learn how to handle stressful situations whether it be through applying first aid or by dealing with prime time rush. You grow relationships with the members,, and if you have a desire you can move up in the company pretty quickly.

Personal Trainer (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJune 3, 2017
The management and members just don't seem to care about the building, people, and equipment. Things are always broken and/or dirty. Not a fun place to be when things are gross.
