2H have an immediate vacancy for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible – more... for selling subsea instrumentation and monitoring equipment within the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia. This role will include extensive travel to regularly visit existing and new clients to establish areas of opportunity; maintain and build relationships and enhance the companies client database. You will be responsible for ensuring early identification of future opportunities and keeping the project database up to date. You will also take the leading role in organising trade shows and represent the organisation at exhibitions and entertaining events.
Applicants for the vacancy will need to possess good industry knowledge with a minimum of 5 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, with at least 3 years sales experience. You must be able to understand engineering issues, basic instrumentation and subsea monitoring. Additional attributes required for this role are having an outgoing, sociable personality, be an articulate and persuasive communicator able to achieve results with people of differing backgrounds and seniority levels. You should be able to deliver polished presentations to all sizes of audience. To be able to speak one or more European languages would advantageous.
