Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Current Employee) – Moorpark, CA – March 9, 2016
I am an early start, so I am usually the first one in the building. My day starts off with looking over email and correspondence between my boss and other employees. I then look over all my tasks and establish my priorities. I evaluate the nightly automated regression test results.
The part of my job that I enjoy the most is the challenge of solving problems. Our Technical Support Department usually has some pretty interesting issues that come from the customer.
Very interesting job, bosses are very understandable and easy to work for. Management is a bit too laid back at times, however they still manage to be very productive. There is always something new and interesting to do daily.
Good benefits, paid vacation time, laid back enviroment
Fair Compensation and Benifits, poor infustrcture.
Production Assembler (Former Employee) – Rock Hill, SC – July 23, 2012
Some of the coolest technology you have ever scene is located within the walls of 3D systems. You can pretty much print anything you can imagine in 3D. I worked in Manufacturing building electronic components for of our most popular printers: ProJet 3500. The people I worked with were great, very positive and helpful. Management on the other hand was a complete mess. Poor direction, no communication between us and quality control, zero feedback from the field, and lack of knowledge on the machine itself. Hardest part of this job was dealing with all of the politics that go on in that company. Also the hours, we were there 6 or 7 days of the week on average. There was no work life balance. Just work. Most enjoyable part of the job was learning the machine, troubleshooting, and coming up with solutions. It gave me a sense of self satisfaction.
Productive with cutting edge technology very flexible with hours
QA Software/ Engineer Intern (Former Employee) – Rock Hill, SC – October 30, 2015
The management is very good with flexibility for workers. Best part of the job was working on a brand new technology allowing me to delve into and investigate topics that interest me. Took advice and was very open minded to incorporated changes in work place quickly and machine design. Allowed me to work with people from all over the planet and helped hon people skills.
Friendly work place, New technology
Communication was terrible, time constraints rushed
Manager (Current Employee) – Rock Hill – October 15, 2015
The is the first company that I have ever worked for that has absolutely no sense or team. Everybody seems to be in their own silo, and hardly ever talks to their neighbor. That direction or lack thereof seems to come from the top. The CEO provides no vision or direction to the company. Too many projects without enough resources to complete.
MATERIAL HANDLING (Former Employee) – Andover, MA – July 1, 2015
A Typical day at work would be me walking around 24/7 talking to other helping them out with what ever , Management was my station as my work spot kept it clean at the end of the day for the other shift to start building , My Co - workers Where every helpfull they walked around to check in on us make sure we was alright helps us out with blue prints on the computers. My most enjoyable part of my day would be we the team at 3D systems would leave at the same time and talked about our day.
worker (Current Employee) – Dallas, TX – November 9, 2015
i would guess that the positive reviews here are suspect and should not be trusted. this place is a mess of too many chiefs with a "flog until morale improves" attitude. hours are very, very long and not much reward.
Production Assembler (Current Employee) – Rock Hill, SC – May 12, 2015
At 3d system is a fun modern place to work . there you get to see and work with some new technology. The people there are great to work with. The managers are fine but the management system is confusing. Sometime you don't know who is in charge.
Credit Analyst (Current Employee) – Rock HIll – January 21, 2015
Fun place to work, learned a lot about acquistions and how it affect the total AR. all people get along, Management is overwhelmed by the acquisition, we all are doing what we can to keep our head above water.
the most enjoyable part of this job is there is no one standing over your shoulder and the dress code is relaxed
Senior Technical Support Engineer (Former Employee) – Rock Hill NC – September 2, 2014
3D Systems culture is very relaxed while still maintaing good percentage of productivity. The hardest part of the job was coming up with solutions to problems that have never been presented before, but then again that is every job's biggest challenge. Our team always managed to come up with a solution that satisfied the customer's expectations. The team I was working with was very close and personal making the job more enjoyable.
Technical Support Manager (Former Employee) – Valencia, CA – October 3, 2014
Travel from customer to customer repairing 3D Printing Equipment. Learned troubleshooting skills and account management. Very knowledgeable co workers with extreme repair knowledge. The hardest part was traveling for weeks on end. It was enjoyable to receive acknowledgement from customer for your efforts.
All places where I worked I got fun, and I made it easy my job, with a lo of responsability.
Assembly Technician (Former Employee) – Herndon, VA – March 29, 2014
I put attention in my Job, always I am looking for the best way for improve production, I follow procedures; with my co-workers I show them something I know. The hardest part of any job is no follow procedures, and no organization, and the most enjoyable part of the job is the good results.
