Reports to: Social Media Director
The Social Media Account Manager will work with Social Media Strategists and Social Media Coordinators to develop and execute social strategies for 451 Marketing’s clients. While reporting directly to the Social Media Director, they will be actively involved in client activity, meetings, and conference calls. The Social Media Account Manager understands the client’s product and their marketing objectives and goals. The Social Media Director will be responsible for tracking results and making continuous improvements to the account in order to achieve and maintain online success for their client’s social web presence. This will include regular reporting to the client of improved results and next steps.
-Work with clients and team to create cross-platform social media strategies, building content, promotions, and more.
-Manage a team of 2-4 people.
-Create timely and engaging content optimized for a range of platforms and audiences.
-Collaborate with PR and search teams to build cohesive plans.
-Analyze and report on social media data, utilizing various analytics software.
-Plan and/or create visuals that reflect client and brand for social media platforms.
-Stay current with social media trends and tools.
Candidate Characteristics and Objectives:
-Ability to produce great work results through relentless organization, uncompromising integrity, effective communication, and proactive problem solving
-Desire to provide exceptional customer service and outstanding search marketing results
-Capacity to interact well with outside clients as well as internal employees
-Resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit
-3+ years of social media marketing experience
-Strong project and account management skills
-Experience with creating and executing strategies for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine, and more.
-Expertise with social media and analytics software, including but not limited to Hootsuite, Radian6, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.
-Strong understanding of strategic content management and content marketing.
-Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns.
-Excellent writing skills and professional verbal communication skills..
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-Exceptional time management and organization skills, including ability to work with a diverse range of clients.
