Sales Associate (Current Employee) – Leesburg, VA – November 12, 2013
Coffee and food for customers is probably the number one in the store. At night time after 8 pm it dies down and it is very slow, probably about 6 people per 30 min. Management is flexiable when associates need a few days off or a month off, he has other associates fill that persons spot. Co-workers work well with each other, no complaints there. Hardest part of the job is to deal with rude and snotty customers that always think that "us" associates don't know how to do our job or the price is wrong on the shelf, where we got new tags for all the products that have the price, and the name of the product so customers won't complain. No really enjoyable part of the job.
eat when we can
it is a franchise store so we lost our benefits. Thankfully I have benefits on my husbands insurance

Cashier (Former Employee) – King City, CA – March 14, 2018
7-eleven was a fun work place, with many nice co-workers. I would recommend the job to others. You learn many different things, from inventory checking, to things about semi trucks. Hardest part would have to be checking in inventory, which wasn't very hard. I learned many different thing while working for their company.
When you get tired of standing behind the registers, they allow you took walk around the store and check inventory

7-Eleven is a great job for people with little to no experience while keeping a professional status at all locations. I only worked at one for a very small amount of time but had a great experience there.
A good place learn and get experience about small business and retail sale.
MANAGER (Former Employee) – Bethlehem, PA – March 14, 2018
Working at 7- Elven as a manger it was good learning experience about how to mange and handle all of the responsibilities of a convenient store. One day at work one of the employees called off and I was short one cashier. I had to finish my order, but also had to help the other employee because there was a big line. I was ordering merchandise using the handheld while helping the other cashier. I had to finish my order and submit it by 9am, so was rushing to finish it on time. After I got done with the order I realized I ordered 150 gallons of milk instead of 15. I called the company right away and spoke to the supervisor and asked him I could Please send back the rest of the merchandise also that it was a mistake. The supervisor did understand the situation and agreed to take back the gallons of milk that was extra ordered. The lesson I learned was the its good to always double check any thing that I do especially if its about ordering merchandise. The good part of the job was , I had to deal and interact with a lot of people and learned a lot about how to take care of customers. The hardest part of the job would be when an employee called off because then I would have to finish all my work on time and cover for the employee who called off.
good experience and learning about small businesses.
I would have to work double shift if one of the employees would call off.

This job is very fast paced. As a cashier you have to take in customers money for gas, get cigarettes, print lottery tickets, make food, serve food. All while maintaining a quick pace to make sure customers are in and out quickly.

this job was fun at first, i got to meet lots of different people from the neighborhood and even made some friends. However, it wasn't long until the neighbring homeless population got displaced further east, and i began to have serious issues with theft, threats and even a stalker.
