ABC Manager/Head Cashier (Former Employee) –  Radford, VAJune 7, 2017
It's not a bad job to have while you're in school or looking for other options. The management wasn't the worst and the staff at my store was fun to work with but the hours were terrible. I would work 7+ hour shifts, usually until 10 or 11 at night with zero breaks. I got no recognition for going above and beyond the work requirements and no pay raise during the almost 2 years I worked.

Its a madhouse, no but in all honesty, its an enjoyable work enviroment
Senior Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Corpus Christi, TXJune 7, 2017
The customer will get on your nerves, and some will even steal! But that comes with the territory, if you don't lock your doors someone can open them. Being a helpful employee is always a plus, being attentive is important! You never want to have a customer repeat themselves, it's aggravating and could result in a loss of sales, so be sharp! The work load is light, going home feeling drained is not an issue, mentally perhaps but not physically drained.
Pros
Flexible hours, Free fountain drinks(at participating stores) the ability to open a "Tab" so to speak
Cons
None.

Lack of Training
Store Manager (Former Employee) –  Charlotte, NCJune 6, 2017
As a store manager you are put through a 8 week training, but when its time to get your store you are thrown to the wolves. Sink or swim. The Field consultant is not very supportive and barely know there job so they can't assist you with your job. I work ten hour days and was on call 24 hours, The hardest part of the job is not having support from your immediate supervisor. The most enjoyable part of the job was the customer.
Pros
Free fountain drinks
Cons
no breaks, sometime working two to three consective shifts, no security in place

Best part is the people I work with and flexible hours.
Customer Service Associate (Current Employee) –  Williamsville, NYJune 6, 2017
Not a bad place to start out but don't get to comfortable with the managers and assistsants because they always change. So depending on the managers depends on how your workplace will be. Most times in the day there is only one person working and it gets pretty hectic, especially if you don't smoke because you won't get a break or even a chance to eat only in between customers. Some workers slack and don't do anything but management doesn't do anything about it. Not really a growing company.
Pros
Flexible hours
Cons
Short to no breaks, poor management, low pay and rude customers.

Store Manager (Current Employee) –  Coos Bay, ORJune 6, 2017
As a dedicated employee for the last seven years, I recommend working for #18257. The owner is a good man and will work with your needs to the best of his ability. As long as you do right by the store, he will do right by you.
Pros
Stability and security for good employees

Night Manager (Former Employee) –  Woodridge, ILJune 6, 2017
I loved the regular customers that would make it a point to visit me. Also the pay was quite small for the amount of work expected. Asking for a raise was also hard to get awarded. But the company was Franchised and the owner ended up losing the business back to corporate.

Responsibility is high and pay is low
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Brownsville, TXJune 5, 2017
lots of labor, slow advancement and few raises. Managers can play favorites with certain employees. You are responsible for cleaning the store entirely from restrooms to the coolers. Check in new merchandise and stock the shelves. Food service area has to be cleaned and replenished all while making sure that no one walks out of the store with out paying. Money drops and cash management. Responsibility is high and pay is low. No full time positions. Only part time
Pros
none
Cons
lots of responsibility and very low pay
