It can be a really fun place to work at, until theres a bad rush (which can be often if you work on the weekends or late nights). Its a very fast-paced work environment. Being someone who has done multiple customer service, the customers there for some reason are extra petty and it just drains all the energy from you. Even when you are trying your very best, you will often have a judging stare from a customer. I have learned to ignore them, and just continue to perform my job the best I can.
The hardest part is often how understaffed we are and how often we are out of ingredients for drinks. It not only hinders my performance, but always upsets the customers.
From this place, I have learned excellent time management, adaptability, extreme cleanliness, conflict resolution, and the balance of leadership and collaboration with my fellow employees.
The most enjoyable part of the job is either the time spent improving working skills with my coworkers or when I can successfully make a customer feel that they have been properly assisted.
