You listen to good music. You write a blog that people actually read. You judge advertisements ‘cause you could probably write them better. You are creeped out by how good Facebook is at targeting ads to you …but also secretly impressed. You read articles on Mashable. You tweet like it’s your job.

Well guess what: It could be your job.

That’s right, that’s what we do. Coolest mobile apps? Here. Wild, out-of-the-box, engagement-driven social media? Ditto. Twitter junkie paradise? You bet.

What would you be doing here exactly? Glad you asked.

You’d be working in a fast paced environment for some of the top names in the entertainment industry. If it’s not clear from the above, you should have an interest in advertising, innovative marketing, and digital/interactive solutions. Also, if it wasn’t clear, you should probably stop reading now.

You’ll be the one driving social media strategy on two tentpole communities for a major Hollywood studio. You’ll also be the one executing said strategy on a day-to-day basis, getting your hands dirty and all that.

Another big part of this gig is establishing deeper and more meaningful levels of engagement across all digital platforms, as well as expanding the user experience of content across a growing multi-platform distribution network. Basically, you should have extensive experience in the realm of social media, and work comfortably on a variety of platforms (none of this “Oh I don’t do Twitter” crap). A knack for creative problem solving is a must, and you should be able to keep your cool when things get hot. Or muggy with a 90% chance of shit storm. Oh, did we mention a sense of humor required?

Specific responsibilities include:

Collaborate on all facets of the Social Media platform from ideation to execution and metrics, including platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Digg, Tumblr, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Delicious, blogs, newsletters, Pinterest, fan sites, and targeted online communities.

-Create digital campaigns, partnerships and activities to increase awareness and a deeper engagement with the company’s properties & brands.
-Develop new business opportunities and cultivate social media extensions to existing company initiatives.
-Follow and report on trends in social media including sites, tools and applications.
-Support other employees to develop best practices in Social Media.

Skills and Experience:

-Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years in Social Media.
-Demonstrable success in developing and implementing social media campaigns.
-Proficiency with (and an understanding of best practices for) a broad range of social media platforms, including the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Digg, Tumblr, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Delicious, and Pinterest.
-Proficiency with a broad range of analytic tools and metrics, including Google Analytics, Sprout Social, TweetDeck, HootSuite, Klout, Facebook Insights, Radian6, etc.
-Clear understanding of the relationship between ROI, SEO and Web 3.0 practices, and demonstrated ability to turn creative ideas into results.
-Ability to write efficiently in voice, within established brand guidelines.
-Problem-solving mind-set that thrives on new challenges.
-Mac OS Proficiency.
