We are a an local transportation company seeking a HR Coordinator who can significantly contribute to our growing company.
Provide full HR administrative support.
Enter payroll changes and perform bi-weekly payroll using ADP.
Attract applicants through innovative recruiting techniques as well as traditional methods for local hiring needs.
Process verification of employment and enter garnishments, benefits, and taxes into the payroll system.
Determine qualified applicants through various screening processes.
Coordinate second level screening for applicants with other management members.
Coordinate and perform the new hire on boarding processes.
Promote a safe work environment through participation in safety committee and initiatives.
Assist in OSHA compliance.
Enter benefit enrollments and changes.
Perform other generalist duties such as employee relations, benefits administration, Workers' Comp administration, training, etc.
At least 1-2 years general HR experience.
Bachelor's degree in HR or other related field.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Previous ADP payroll experience a plus.
Working knowledge of employment and OSHA laws.
Ability to assist in the development and delivery of training.
Accurate, able to maintain confidentially and build trust with employees.
