WoodworkerII, Newberg, OR - October 5, 2016
I worked in two different departments and had the best supervisors I've ever worked for.I was given opportunities to learn many new skills. I am a morning person so the early start time, 5:00am, was great for me. I learned to build solid-surface counter tops, run an edge bander, apply laminate to counter tops all of which are marketable skills. There was the usual mix of great workers and friends and constant complainers. The most difficult part was the expectations of perfection I placed on myself before I had developed my skill level. The most enjoyable part was seeing the "light bulb" come on for someone I was training at a new task.
