Bad Company to Work In.
Property Manager (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CADecember 14, 2015
A Community of Friends is not a company that is fully structure for property management. They lack the sufficient employees, and they share only 2 maintenance technicians for 18+ properties. Also, this organization does not appreciate its employees, and they make their employees work themselves to death. Many of its employees are constantly taking sick days and FMLA. On top of that, you have to work with tenants that are mentally ill and cause so much trouble to the point of exhaustion. If you are serious about your career, this is not the place to work in.

A Community of Friends was a great company to work for. However funding sources require realate focus and not social /human services. ACOF was into referbishing old hotels into SRO (single room oppcupancy) apartments for the homeless.
Pros
supportive staff
Cons
more of a housing provder
