Family Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAAugust 24, 2017
This is a great agency to start a career and gain experience. The employees are very friendly and willing to assist their colleagues where needed. All employees are crossed trained, which can sometimes cause work overload.

Good Workplace
Receptionist/Office Assistant (Former Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMarch 25, 2015
Very productive workplace with excellent opportunities to hone and learn new skills, along with a wealth of opportunitiy for advancement. Managers and supervisors fair and easy to talk to if any issues arise, which makes for a comfortable working environment. Co-workers, for the most part were friendly and easy to work with. Working in foster care isn't always easy, so the toughest part of the job was seeing the effects on children displaced or removed from homes or families for various reasons. The best part of course, was seeing some of those families reunited after much hard work and patience on behalf of parents and social workers. For me personally, the best was developing lasting friendships outside of the company.
Pros
Meeting diverse groups of people. Huge learning curve for skills and experience.
Cons
At times, a lack or break in communication could interrupt productivity.

Family Group Decision Making Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PAMay 8, 2012
Fun and opportunity to grow. Busy but progressive. I have learned management skills and team building experience. Hardest part is plenty of meetings. The most enjoyeable part is the caraderie.
