At the Secure plastics printing division in the Dedham, MA area we are currently searching for a Quality Auditor to join our team.

Candidate is responsible for performing in-process, incoming, quality system and product audits using test equipment, existing work instructions, and/or process documentation with minimal supervision.
Individual must be able to perform work center audits to defined schedules and procedures using various hand tools, instruments and/or gauges documenting audits performed in detail and accurately. He/she is required to interact with fellow employees in their work stations with minimal disruption. Candidate will collect information from these areas in the form of data collection sheets based on in-process checks performed by manufacturing.
He/she is responsible for accounting of product and scrap material generated as part of testing and reporting/investigating any discrepancies found in the accountability process. Audit findings will periodically necessitate notifying shift supervision of deficiencies found in a real-time manner showing assertiveness in a respectful manner and will require elevating a level of awareness when warranted. Protocol for such will be established by Quality Management. Candidate must be capable of issuing reports on findings.
The individual will be required to maintain meticulous records, help with input and maintenance of databases, data analysis and record information from multiple activities. He/she will maintain filing systems for quality records and recommend best practices for document management.
Additionally, candidate will be required to assist with material testing, equipment testing, capability studies, calibration, 5S, lean initiatives and other job related duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish color variation, Adherence to schedule, Record Maintenance, Testing Accuracy
o Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT clearance
o Ability to read and write English at a proficient level
o Basic math skills at a proficient level
o Experience with small hand gauges required
o Visual acuity required, with or without corrective lenses
o Some lifting up to 40 lbs and some standing required
o Computer skills required, proficient in Excel & Word
MiniTab 14or 15™ experience is a plus
o 3+ years of experience in Quality or related field in a job shop environment with some level of audit 5S, Lean and continuous improvement exposure
o Experience with Statistical Process Control is preferred
o ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Certified Quality Auditor a plus
o Familiarity with ANSI, SOP documentation ISO Standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, a plus
