Overview: Rebuild of electro-hydraulic servo valves
Responsibilities: Inspect servo valves/proportional valves upon arrival. Evaluate Incoming performance of valves, including leakage, hysteresis, etc. on test bench. Troubleshoot valves by performing various tests. Analyze data. Disassemble valves, clean parts. Determine feasibility of repairing, and compare to New OEM Specs. Purchase parts needed to perform repairs, and stock for future use. Replace parts needed, and repair servo/ proportional valves to New Manufacturer's Specification. Calibrate valves and do final Outgoing tests on bench. Record incoming/outgoing performance (input data, and file records) including graphing and flow plots. Troubleshoot with customers via phone, when necessary. Keep Inventory up to date of parts and components.
Skills + Experience: Great opportunity for honorably discharged ex-military, or recent tech school grads, trade technicians/mechanics, etc. looking for a stable career, not just a job. Willing to train the right person, possessing exceptional mechanical aptitude. Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, and an understanding of voltage/current/power supplies is a must. Experience using precision instruments and understand tolerances. Experience using electronic test bench equipment is a plus. Must have attention to detail, and be analytical and technical in nature.
