Fast work flow but helpful
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Cary, NC – May 19, 2013
Fast paced work place, assisted with RX drugs for disabled or elderly people. Enjoyable part of the job is knowing I intended and strive to help each and every customer I had to be via phone with. Also I didn't stop until I found a resolution or an answer for customer.

Call Center
Customer Service Rep (Former Employee), Kent, WA – May 18, 2013
Pros: lenient, good pay, employee discount website, break room has a computer for personal use, flat screen tv, and a wii
Cons: break room is small, pay is averaged based off q&a's every week.
Great place to work you are paid between $9.04-$12 or $13 based of your performance. If you're doing your job you should have no problem. They are very lenient when it comes to tardiness. You deal with all customer over the phone and its an inbound call center so you never have to call out. Most supervisors are really nice.

Service Center for Public Assistant Programs
Eligibility Specialist (Former Employee), Fort Wayne, IN – May 16, 2013
Cons: short break and no employee appreciation
I would take calls from clients with concerns and questions, worked various tasks for all programs which I would do data gathering and entry through the day, accept documents and research cases, also worked in nursing home que which I would process non claim spenddowns and deviations, and also worked in hearing and appeals which I would do pre-hearing – more... conference calls, research case, problem solving, and also processed hearing decisions, had to multi task daily, worked with micro soft programs such as word, excel and outlook. Management to me was poor, hardest part of the job was dealing with the work evironment, due they seemed to worry about production more than actually helping the clients.the most part I enjoyed of the job was speaking with the clients and being able to help them. – less

CPS
Child Protective Specialist (CPS) (Former Employee), Brooklyn, NY – May 14, 2013
Pros: great benefits
Cons: long work days
CPS is very demanding and fast paced. A typical work day can range from getting a new case , a child safety conference, home visits, court, removals and meetings. The day is very face paced. ACS is the foundation of my initiation into child welfare. Learning how to assess for the safety and well being of children, identifying abuse and neglect as well – more... as safety and risk interventions. Along with linking familie to community and family resources to mitigate safety or risk concerns.
The hardest part of the job was keeping up wtih documentation, the most enjoyable part was ensuring children were safe and having there needs met while remaining home. – less

Productive, Multiple tasked, office assistant, office environment, fun, friendly, team player
Office Assistant (Former Employee), Bloomington, MN – May 13, 2013
Pros: great management and team players
Cons: not enough hours
A typical day at work was working with my supervisor in his office on a daily basis from shipping and receiving, to shipping boxes, creating labels for boxes, looking up files in the database that needed to be pulled from the warehouse to send back to the corporate office, to whatever small tasks my supervisor needed me to do to keep the work flow moving – more... at the pace and standards set by corporate. I learned how to be my own leader, be more responsible and to carry multiple tasks. My co-workers were very friendly, family oriented, helpful, kind, team players, fun, motivated, inspirational and hard workers. There was no hard part of the job for me. The most enjoyable part of the job was the environment and the effort everyone put in towards their work. – less

Enjoyable Work Enviroment
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Frostburg, MD – May 12, 2013
Pros: smokers area, nice break room, great supervisor staff
Cons: required search program was flawed and useless
This employer gave multiple opportunities to expand knowledge of the job at hand to better serve our customers. Co-workers were friendly and enthusiastic. Management was effective and helpful during normal business hours, in the later hours there was maybe one supervisor which meant longer hold times if help was needed which was a slight draw-back. – more... The hardest part of the job was if there was a slow day we weren't permitted to play games on our computers and talking amongst each other in a personal or playful way was frowned upon most times. The most enjoyable part of the job was the learning experience. On a typical day of work at ACS for the Aetna project we used our keyfab to gain entry to the customer service floor logged in to our extensions and logged into our computers. We had an alotted amount of time to pull up all of our programs and search engines that were required to perform our tasks as we answered calls from Aetna Medicare customers. We had a total of thirty minutes for break and 30 minutes for lunch which was more than enough time. – less

Customer Service Supervisor (Current Employee), Nashville Tn – May 9, 2013
I am one of 6 Human Resource helpline Reps/Customer Service Supervisors. We handle incoming HR and executive calls as well as any escalation that may need to be addressed by a regular Rep. I monitor call volume as well as make sure team members adhere to their given schedule. I monitor call quality.
