The absolute worst
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Baton Rouge, LA –
Pros: co-workers
Cons: the entire job
I have worked for many call centers previously and wouldn't recommend this call center to my worst enemy. I was lied to from the very beginning from my schedule to the atmosphere. I learned that working at this company I couldn't be the person that I am. They try to teach you that everyone that calls in is lying which is not true. The case workers aren't – more...  contacting these people within the timeframe that they are stating they should. The management is okay. My co-workers were probably the best part of the job.We kept each other in good spirits. The hardest part was the NO BREAKS! And also the 3 MINUTES that they allowed you to go to the restroom. – less

The Frostburg Center is the WORST
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Frostburg, MD –
If the management hasnt changed, and I know it didnt, the managers talk down to you and treat the employees like children. You cant even stand up at your desk to stretch. You have to wait til your breaktime..

Great 1st job experience
Customer Care Assistant (Current Employee), Raleigh, NC –
Pros: resolution
Cons: taking time off
A typical day at work would be assisting customers over the phone through troubleshooting steps. I've learned so much about the campaign that I'm under. I've learned about phone's and its features, what different price plans are available through the phone company, and how to manage a conversation with customers no matter their personal feelings about – more...  the service. The work environment is very friendly. The hardest part about the job is being able to take time off, but the most enjoyable is being able to resolve issues and provide extraordinary customer service to enhance customer perceptions about their phone service. – less

Customer service representative (Former Employee), Auburn, AL –
Pros: 20% off cellular phone bill.
Cons: not having own desk or headset.
Taking inbound calls from Verizon Wireless customers assisting them with their needs. I learned how to change price plans in a timely manner. I enjoyed working with all of my co-workers. The hardest part of the job was assisting customers when their had been death in the family and comforting them to the best of my knowledge. Ending the call when the – more...  customer is so very happy with the service I have provided them. – less

Pros: constant employee recognition

Very good place to work at, although there were days that were stressful, it was manageable. There was a small lack of teamwork, however we treated each other with respect and worked together when necessary.

Customer Service Rep Assisting elderly members obtain maintenance medications
Customer Service Rep (Current Employee), Sandy Utah –
I was a customer service rep who assisted elderly members obtain their maintenance medications. I learned to work on many different computer systems at once, while displaying active listening skills to help the member recieve statisfaction with my job. The work enviroment was an welcoming enviroment. While every day I thrived at my abillity to make – more...  members happy, the worst part of the job were the restrictions that I faced in getting some of their medications, although I know that rules and regulations are put into place for a reason. – less

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Baton Rouge, LA –
A TYPICAL DAY AT WORK FOR ME WOULD BE TO ASSIST CUSTOMERS AND MAKE SURE THAT THEIR NEEDS ARE MET. IVE LEARNED IN MY 8 YEARS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE THAT NO MATTER WHAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT AND THAT I HAVE TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER STAYS HAPPY. THE MANAGEMENT WAS OK. MY CO-WORKERS WERE VERY SUPPORTIVE AND WE HELPED – more...  EACH OTHER OVERCOME HARD OBSTACLES. THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB WAS NOT BEING ABLE TO WORK MORE HOURS. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF THE JOB WAS BEING AMONGST MY PEERS ENJOYING THE WORK THAT I DO. – less

Receive incoming calls from sprint customers with device, equipment, and billing issues. The hardest part of the job is dealing with upset customers and assisting with possible retentions. The most enjoyable part of the job is the handful of great customers you receive.
