The Distribution Center Specialist position is a key contributing member of our East Coast Distribution Facility, Our 300,000 sq. ft. facility distributes wholesale denim apparel to major retail distribution centers and retail stores throughout the United States. The Distribution Center Specialist role and responsibility is to communicate daily with our management team to ensure processes, system implementation, and vendor system compliance is integrated throughout the supply chain. The Distribution Center Specialist will manage the daily interaction with all department heads to implement a new RFID system throughout all levels of the distribution processes. The successful candidate must demonstrate the qualities and personal strengths to communicate effectively, demonstrate the ability to enforce company policy and procedures. Demonstrated ability to positively impact team success The Distribution Center Specialist will also develop strong partnerships with their peers to support services provided to other departments. Additionally the candidate should have a demonstrated track record of RFID implementation and integration in a warehouse distribution facility. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are also required. Must have a bachelor’s degree and be proficient with computer systems, Microsoft Office word, excel, and ERP programs, RFID experience and new implementation experience a must. The Distribution Center Specialist reports to the Director of Operations, and will be responsible to perform tasks to support the daily execution of all processes completed in the distribution center. Finally, the successful candidate should have the ability and desire to eventually assume another position within the organization within the distribution center or global supply chain.
