The AIDS Resource Group seeks a qualified candidate with a BS/BA is Social Sciences (psychology, social work, sociology), or Bachelor degree in another field with a minimum of 12 hours course work in human behavior, social policy, social welfare, counseling, interviewing, and/or dealing with families or groups for the position of full-time Care Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of supervised case management experience and knowledge of state and local resources. Knowledge of HIV related issues is preferred, although training is available.
Duties include (but are not limited to) assisting clients with access to entitlement programs as well as providing social support and connecting clients to other relevant community groups. Case managers will facilitate a total of approximately 50 clients at any given time providing long term, specialized case management. Case notes are expected to be submitted to program managers in a timely fashion.
A valid driver's license is mandatory as local travel is required of all case managers. Resumes along with a cover letter will be accepted until Thursday July 24th. No phone calls please.
