Director of Marketing & Training (Cleveland)
APM Management, LLC is growing property management company seeking a Director of Marketing and Training. The Director of Marketing and Training is responsible for researching, developing and coordinating marketing-related initiatives and assisting in the development of marketing projects for an assigned region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and coordinating existing Company marketing initiatives and assisting in the creation, development and implementation of new marketing initiatives.
Works with senior leadership, Regional Managers, Property Managers and on-site associates in implementing marketing programs; maintains positive and proactive communications between APM’s property field group and operations teams.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality control of the Company’s on-site marketing and advertising efforts; provides regional perspective to larger cross-functional marketing efforts.
Maintains an ongoing knowledge of marketing trends and demographics, with a particular emphasis on Internet marketing and social media trends.
Delivers marketing reporting and spend analysis including recommendations for spend efficiencies.
Guides budgeting of marketing expenses.
Proactively identifies where help is needed to react to high exposure or other occupancy issues.
Drive/support various other activities (cross-marketing, vendor discounts, shared amenities programs, social media).
Manage conference calls, facilitate idea generation and help to determine the viability of new ideas.
Manages the company’s Leads program.
Collaborates with various departments as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of Company’s national marketing initiatives.
Complies with all Company Practices, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Performs other tasks as directed by any person authorized to give such instructions or assignments.
Travel will be required. (Approximately 50%)
This person will be working with “Market Rate” apartment management. Successful candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, proficient in WORD and EXCEL; be able to work with confidential information, has sound time management principles, is able to prioritize with a math aptitude and possesses excellent people skills and patience. Candidates with experience in working with multiple sites will be given preference.
