Job Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Marketingand Director of Operations, the Marketing Manager is responsible for researching, developing and coordinating marketing-related initiatives and assisting in the development of marketing projects. The Marketing Manager will also assist in overseeing the training and development of the leasing function for the entire company.

Essential Duties:
o Works with senior leadership, regional managers and property managers in implementing marketing programs
o Maintains positive and proactive communications between property field and operations teams
o Monitors and maintains quality control of the company’s on-site marketing and advertising efforts
o Provides regional perspective to larger cross-functional marketing efforts
o Maintains an on-going knowledge of marketing trends and demographics, with a particular emphasis on internet marketing and social media trends
o Delivers marketing reporting and spend analysis including recommendations for spend efficiencies
o Guides budgeting of both capital and operating marketing expenses
o Proactively identifies where help is needed to react to high exposure or other occupancy issues

Job Requirements:
o Bachelor’s Degree and five years of marketing experience in the Property Management or Real Estate Industry
o Knowledge of Yardi Voyager or any other property management software
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal documents, contracts, lease agreements, and any other related documents
o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
o Ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of employees and customers
o Advance knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations and the ability to enforce them
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a heavy workload and multi-task under strict timelines
o Strong collaborative skills
o Strong attention to detail and the ability to make solid decisions
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills
o Excellent people skills and patience
o Intermediate computer knowledge proficient in Microsoft programs
o Ability to pass a criminal and/or credit background check
