You must pay meticulous attention to detail, be obsessed with things being done correctly and efficiently in accordance with already established company procedures and you must be honest and full of integrity. We have salesmen who exceeded $1 million in sales last year and every one of our salesmen exceeded a 40% closing percentage. Our top 2 salesmen had closing percentages of 52% and 46% respectively. Two of my salesmen have over doubled their salaries between 2012 and 2010. Our company is extremely easy to sell for, our leads are continuous, non stop and top quality (we do not telemarket and rarely canvas outside of six-packing neighborhoods where we are doing other jobs.).
