Currently seeking a candidate to be responsible for defining and executing supply strategies of all categories of materials and services purchased for the Machinery and Plastics Divisions in the amount of $70 million in spend. Categories include polymeric resins, inks and chemicals, mechanical and electrical items and outside processes.
This role serves as the primary commercial and business relationship contact for assigned suppliers. Will define strategies that support the 5 year strategic objectives of the Company with input of internal customers and knowledge of supply chain market dynamics. Expectations of the role include negotiating agreements with suppliers, identifying and managing supply chain risks, fostering relationships with suppliers, participating on new product development projects and achieving defined goals of cost reduction and supplier performance.
Required Qualifications are:
- BA/BS in supply chain, engineering, operations or related business field.
- MBA preferred.
- CPSM or CPM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain in a manufacturing environment, in roles of progressive responsibility.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft applications.
