Uncertain future lies ahead after ERS consolidation to Call Centers in Calif then resulted in 08-09 downfall of Reduction In Workforce Staffing & elimination of thousands of employees with established careers 5 to 40 years vested then the plug pulled. Severance packages yes but not near the compensation for the many many years served. It was a numbers game. Move the call centers out of state then move them two more times.Calif to Arizona to New Mexico now in Utah..Move the main SF office & reduce District Offices in size & reduce total numbers of employees & put the greater amount of work on the less number of those left. More for less & save through out ..I was personally dedicated & loved spending half my life there until we were all just thrown beneath the bus. Not enough years + age to equal any retirement after serving 18 years..
