Very, very poor management
Consultant (Former Employee) – Irving, TX – December 4, 2012
No orientation to the company at all. I was placed at a client site, supposed to be assisting and learning from the principal PM, only the PM didn't share much of anything with me, including what exactly I was supposed to be doing in his absence, which was 95% of the time. I tried scheduling regular calls with him to keep us aligned, and he would blow me off. He pretty much didn't seem to care what I did at all, except once in a while he would feel the need to posture himself in front of the client and suddenly felt the need to make everything harder than it needed to be with something the client asked me to do. I felt abandoned and stranded, left to figure things out for myself. Even when I left, the Principal PM didn't even bother to call me. HR didn't bother with an exit interview.
good pay - assigned to good client environment
little to no support or direction at all from this firm
