let analysts analyze
research ANALYST (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAAugust 14, 2017
Far too much emphasis is placed on the analysts to drive sales, and support sales at the cost of quality content. Analysts stretched in every direction. For those analysts allowed to work remotely - the trade off is fair as there is good flexibility provided to them, but to the office-based analysts, there is burn-out and frequent turnover.

Good company, potentially difficult location
Research Analyst, Marketing & Sales Effectiveness (Current Employee) –  Waltham, MAMay 2, 2017
A good company of smart people.
The one major difficulty is its Waltham location for East Coast operations (it's San Diego office looks great).
Aberdeen is still looking to take hold of its own identity as a company.
It's close, and the upside is being able to be a part of its growth, the down side is the stress and uncertainty that comes with trying to make it happen.

Company poised for success
Sales (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAOctober 20, 2015
Spun off in early 2015 from a large parent company, this private equity backed firm has a new life. The company has locations in Boston and San Diego, which are still learning to work together but people are pretty excited about it.

In Boston, there is good energy and management that cares about the people and success. The new ownership is making changes like adding better benefits and giving us new tools.

People like each other and will get together after work at the local bar. It's a collaborative environment with most everyone gives it their all.
Pros
Free muffins and coffee, flexible hours, casual dress, monthly employee awards
Cons
Still integrating locations, but I get that this takes time

Great work life balance..nice people. I really enjoyed my time there. If there was one thing that I take away from the company is that it is always open to new ideas and techniques.
