A great company to work for but hadn't the business to keep me on long term.
Automotive Painter (Former Employee), Elk River, MN – December 1, 2013
Pros: enjoyable work environment, plenty of training and advancement offered
Cons: unpredictable work load and wage trends.
Abra was a great company to work for with a lot of opportunity and benefits. I had a very helpful staff of co-workers and for the most part day to day went pretty smooth. The reason I had left was purely fiscal and I was in need for a little more then was offered there. The position I had held there was created after I had started which was a full time – more... secondary painter position but as time went by the trend in the amount of work was one that seemed to be pretty unpredictable. There were a lot of instances where I would be sent home due to lack of work in the shop and I was looking to have a little more security in my week to week pay, so i decided to leave for a company that seem to have a system that was a little more reliable. Management and Superior Co-Workers were very helpful in me honing the technical skills I had and helped me further my confidence in my abilities and work habits. – less
