Poor benifts and company policies are inconsistent
route driver (Current Employee) – Bridgeport, WV – May 27, 2016
Worked here for a few years as a delivery driver there is poor management and favoritism. Benefits leave much to be desired you only get up to 80hrs a year PTO time no separate sick time and vacation.Any day you take off is minus 10hrs regardless of if you want to use your time or not. Health insurance is pretty expensive for the below average pay for CDL drivers. Management treats employees differently does not have consistent policies. However, if you do your stops in an orderly fashion you can get home to have plenty of family time. 4 day work week but you will work 10 to 16 hour shifts. Have been asked to avoid scales due to " possibility of being overweight". Paid "straight pay " so you do not get paid time and a half but you do get safety bonuses every 3 months. Worked 100hrs every 2 weeks regularly. This company goes through a lot of employees.
Off weekends and holidays
Poor management, lower pay, benifts, not likely to make a career out of
