DIRECTOR - Operational Readiness Services (Former Employee) – Navarre, FL – March 20, 2017
I enjoyed working for Absolute Consulting. The staff and management are wonderful. The pay is based on a base salary + commissions. Unfortunately, the nuclear market for staff augmentation was dwindling significantly in 2016. This led to my decision following discussions with Absolute's president to seek other employment as the base salary was significantly less than my prior employment. This is a great job if you are a natural born salesman.
Contract Refueling Valve Project Manager, Grand Gulf Nuclear Station – June 14, 2016 I verified schedules, work plans, parts preparation and job safety considerations for crew of 50 personnel. From August 2015 to January 2016 preparations were made for an intense outage that lasted approximately 5 week starting in mid-February. I interfaced with supervisors, plant management and executive level personnel to complete the contract, which totaled over $2 Million at completion. During this outage there were no first aid or OSHA recordable events, and no significant human performance or rework failures.
Recruiter/Business Development (Former Employee) – Navarre, FL – September 30, 2015
This is the place for you as a corporate employee if you enjoy going to work not knowing if it will be the day you will be let go. Their recruiters are usually the first ones to go because they believe that they can easily be replaced. Management will tell you that you are doing great to your face and give you good performance reviews but will say something completely different behind close doors. This is the place for you if you are looking for a temporary job but don't expect a career.
