Very unsafe place to work.
Nurse (Current Employee), Lafayette, LAFebruary 20, 2015
Pros: get a paycheck (somewhat)
Cons: no breaks, unsafe work environment, not paid correctly
This place used to be a great place to work. However, things went down hill in the past year. Nearly all of administration was fired and now they have corporate clowns running the show that have no idea how to manage a psych facility. You're forced to work 12 - 18 hour shifts with no break. Half the time your pay check isn't right and they won't give you the money for the hours you worked. They don't pay you the shift diff's like they are supposed to. Staffing is horrible. Due to lack of staff and proper management, this is a very unsafe place to work. Not enough staff to properly watch and manage the patients. Patients don't get the care that they need due to the minimal staff. Patients leave and come right back because they weren't properly treated. They don't care about their employees, patients, or anything else except making money. I wouldn't recommend working here.

nurse (Current Employee), lafayette, LAFebruary 6, 2015
Pros: you get a set of keys
Cons: everything now
Horrible management. Fired all the good managers. Now only inexperienced dim wads. If I had more nursing experience I would go somewhere else.

Don't do it to yourself...KEEP LOOKING
Management (Former Employee), RiverdaleJuly 13, 2013
Pros: can't think of anything
Cons: low wages, terrible benefits, not a longterm company
This is the worst company to work for . They pay low wages and the only people that get raises are the ones who make the most money anyway. The employee morale is so low that all of the current employees are wanting to leave. Please do yourself a favor and keep looking!!!!

Stressful but rewarding
Behavioral Health Technician (Current Employee), Louisville, KYSeptember 17, 2012
Pros: free meals
Cons: 12 hour shifts sometimes with no breaks
in order to work at the village you have to be ready for changes. The teens there can sometimes be hard to deal with but the staff is supportive of each other. The company changes CEO's frequently and changes come with each one. It is a good company to work for if you can deal with the workload.

Working in mental health is rewarding and challenging at the same time.
