Do you work at Accenture? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in?

does anybody know about the policy of accenture hiring with a dui on record? i was looking to get into accenture.. but unfortunately got a dui, it was a dumb mistake and obviously immature move on my part. i realize the dangers of it and am glad nobody got injured or hurt and i learned from my mistake, its still in the judicial process and i was told it will most likely be lowered to reckless driving, but does anybody have any input on it?

I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state government job of VA and the second job is with Accenture as an analyst. Each job would take my career in a different career path one more toward contracting and the other towards budgeting. Both of the jobs appear to be pretty stable but both provide opportunities. Just not sure if working for the state would provide with the same network and opportunities as the contracting firm. The pay for the contracting job is about 10k more but is also in the DC area which might provide more opportunities down the line but I have never worked for the state and unfamiliar with their culture and what opportunities that it might provide. I guess what I am asking is what is it like working for Accenture in the Federal non consulting sector?

I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state government job of VA and is located in a city where I currently live. The second job is with Accenture as an analyst. I am trying to decide if that job security offered by that state job is worth giving up the higher salary of the analyst job. They are both in different areas of business, the state job being a budget analyst, and the Accenture job being a federal contract pricing analyst. My background is in finance, fraud, and accounting. If anyone has any advice for me on this decision I would really appreciate it. Lower pay and potential job security vs higher pay. Would Accenture provide me with more opportunities in the long term that would make it worth it or does anyone have any experience working for the state government? Additional Details Each job would take my career in a different career path one more toward contracting and the other towards budgeting. Both of the jobs appear to be pretty stable but both provide opportunities. Just not sure if working for the state would provide with the same network and opportunities as the contracting firm. I currently work in the Sales Industry and am pursuing my MBA and want to transition into business consulting. I unfortunately do not have any "in" with any of the big five and have sent out numerous resumes. Does any one have any contacts w/in Accenture such as recruiters or ideas as to how to pursue a career w/ them?

Hi All, I was selected for a first round interview with Accenture for an Entry Level Consulting position. The office is based on the East Coast. What kind of questions will the ask me during that first interview? Also, since I live on the West Coast, do you think they will eventually ask me to fly out East to further the interview process (if selected to go on past the first interview)? If so, will it be at my expense? If selected for the position, will Accenture help with relocation expenses or do I pay all that myself?

HELP!!! I am on H1B with Company A and attended interviews with Accenture. Accenture has mentioned in their job description - "Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa". I understand that Accenture does not sponsor fresh H1B. However, is it possible for transfering H1B (corp-to-corp) as it does not involved direct sponsorship? Please clarify... Thanks

I know this is a bit off topic but I've been tormented by an Accenture ex-employee (now working for a chemical company). My only chance in the lawsuit is that Accenture keeps quite a few years of his emails. He is spanish and he was based in Spain. If you could give me this information I would be really grateful as the company hasn't been of much help as this info is considered confidential. Have a nice weekend.
