Working at Accenture

  • Choi King 21 days ago
I received an initial e-mail from 2 separate Accenture recruiters within 2 days requesting I send them my phone number and 2-3 times that I could speak with them for a 30 minute time period for an initial phone interview (for 2 separate positions) and then never heard back from either recruiter. I applied directly on the company website. Does anyone know how long the recruiters wait before they schedule your initial phone interviews after contacting you?

Hi ! I had applied for a position with Accenture recently and as per the Job Description ,they wouldn't do any sponsorship for the work permit/Visa. I was told by the recruiter that they do the H1B transfer for certain practices in Accenture and it varies from practice to practices . But after my last round ,I am not receiving any updates at all :(. Can somebody help me with any information useful on these grounds. Thanks in Advance Shiva

the application online did not ask me about any previous records and neither did any of the interviews in the interview process. I have completed all community service and have no restrictions. My question is, do they hire people with a dui on their record? Also, should i tell HR now about the record or wait till I get an offer?

Do you work at Accenture? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in?

does anybody know about the policy of accenture hiring with a dui on record? i was looking to get into accenture.. but unfortunately got a dui, it was a dumb mistake and obviously immature move on my part. i realize the dangers of it and am glad nobody got injured or hurt and i learned from my mistake, its still in the judicial process and i was told it will most likely be lowered to reckless driving, but does anybody have any input on it?

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Accenture? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Accenture?

I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state government job of VA and the second job is with Accenture as an analyst. Each job would take my career in a different career path one more toward contracting and the other towards budgeting. Both of the jobs appear to be pretty stable but both provide opportunities. Just not sure if working for the state would provide with the same network and opportunities as the contracting firm. The pay for the contracting job is about 10k more but is also in the DC area which might provide more opportunities down the line but I have never worked for the state and unfamiliar with their culture and what opportunities that it might provide. I guess what I am asking is what is it like working for Accenture in the Federal non consulting sector?

I have been offered two job offers recently and would like some opinions on which one I should consider more. The first job is a state government job of VA and is located in a city where I currently live. The second job is with Accenture as an analyst. I am trying to decide if that job security offered by that state job is worth giving up the higher salary of the analyst job. They are both in different areas of business, the state job being a budget analyst, and the Accenture job being a federal contract pricing analyst. My background is in finance, fraud, and accounting. If anyone has any advice for me on this decision I would really appreciate it. Lower pay and potential job security vs higher pay. Would Accenture provide me with more opportunities in the long term that would make it worth it or does anyone have any experience working for the state government? Additional Details Each job would take my career in a different career path one more toward contracting and the other towards budgeting. Both of the jobs appear to be pretty stable but both provide opportunities. Just not sure if working for the state would provide with the same network and opportunities as the contracting firm. Hey guys, just passed my first two phone interviews, one behavioral & case based (for entry level management consultant position) and the second just a case interview... got passed onto the 3rd and final round. What should I be aware of in the final interivew? what kinds of questions/cases or anything specific to the Minneapolis office?

I currently work in the Sales Industry and am pursuing my MBA and want to transition into business consulting. I unfortunately do not have any "in" with any of the big five and have sent out numerous resumes. Does any one have any contacts w/in Accenture such as recruiters or ideas as to how to pursue a career w/ them?
