Ace was a wonderful company to work for. If the opportunity presented itself again, I would be interested applying for another position.

Client wouldn't let the security team do our job. He would remove people from the site without investigating the situation.

This is a family owned business. Its trades consist of Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC. The enviornment is relaxed and casual, but it can get very busy during summer and again during winter. The business owners are good people and they are flexible when it comes to employee schedules. On the downside, I have been told numerous times that I am an exceptional – more... employee and that I'm doing great. I was told of benefits and a raise after 90 days, but I haven't received a raise, not much recognition, and no benefits. I'm always there when needed and I always come through, but there's no acknowledgment of my work and everyday feels like a miserable prison cell. Most days I can't take a lunch because it's busy. It makes someone like me feel wasted; as in wasting time and days in a place that isn't bringing me any joy or hope. All in all, this is a good company with regards to the service they provide, but it's just not a good fit for me. – less

The work involved finding employment opportunities for people with severe developmental disabilities. Someone with an outgoing personality would thrive in this position.

I'm graduated from faculty of engineering 1993 communications & electronics department. I worked for 4 years as a hardware customer engineer in IBM maintaning servers, ATM & I/O's on customer site.I worked for 14 years as sales person selling maintenance contract in government & banking sector.

Great place to develop ones skill set and knowledge. Small work environment - management in Boston is invested in employees. Tried to make place fun to work at. Loved working there, the people was very nice and helpful

Enjoyable job. Dead-lined based projects. Must be knowledgeable about professional recordings and industry standard sound leveling.

A productive work day would be free of unnecessary pressure and hassle from surrounding environment. People can laugh and work would be more productive than other methods of encouraging people to work better. Bad management ruins employee and company silently, usually without showing signs for the management to repair. Management is the life of nay kind of business. My co-worker should be the ones I like to work with, not the one I like to keep distant from. Competition between con-workers should be focus on how to help each other advance forward, not dragging down the others for individual's agendas. The hardest part of the job is lying withing the motion and willingness of the people who is tasking with the job. The saying there's a will there's a way will be truthful. Skill and objective cannot be helpful to solve the problem, the will would be able to do. The most enjoyable part of the job is not when it is finished before or by the deadline, but how much insight people can obtain from the job. – less

First thing was to check any voicemail. call customer to remained them of their loan. and make friend calls to offfer our products, of course all day had an smile and the best attitude to help customers at window.

it was really injoying working at ace, never done anything like that in the past and i really injoyed it would love to do something like that agein

Een typische dag op mijn werk: ik maak planning, offertes en calculaties, stuur ik projectgroepen aan en waar nodig vorm ik nieuwe groepen en eventueel pas ik bestaande groepen aan. Daarnaast hou ik up to date inzicht in materialen - en prijzen en heb ik contact met de leveranciers, de onderaannemers, de uitvoerders en de klant.

In deze loopbaan als – more... projectleider heb ik in het bijzonder het volgende geleerd:
- De beste leidinggevende capaciteiten haal je uit door: het motiveren van mensen, het geven van vertrouwengevoel in mensen, het betrekken van je mensen bij de zaak (voorbeeld: vraag hun soms wat zij ergens van vinden...),
- Vertrouw niet blindeling op alles maar hou het totale overzicht strategisch goed in de gaten om eventuele problemen tijdig op te kunnen lossen. Inventariseer de risico's vooraf en maak de risico's beheersbaar.
- Wees eerlijk met de klant. Fouten zijn menselijk en kunnen soms gebeuren, maar wees op dat moment eerlijk tegen de klant en geeft de fout toe. Los het probleem volledig naar de wensen van de klant op. Een tevreden klant maakt bijna altijd alles goed.
- Meer cultuur kennis.

Het moeilijkste van mijn houdige baan is het managen van buitenlandse krachten waarbij cultuurverschillen sterk van elkaar kunnen verschillen. Dit vormt tegelijkertijd ook het leukst van deze baan door mij meer kennis bij te brengen over mensen en hun werkwijze en gewoontes. – less
