Productive and friendly environment
Financial Administrator Contractor (Former Employee), Falls Church – April 4, 2013
Working at Acentia was good and it was a friendly environment. Overall the managment is good and loved the fact that everyone has an office. An office with a door was good especially when it comes to meeting deadlines and ensuring that reports are accurate.

Good Company
Network Specialist (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA – February 27, 2013
Pros: good salary and benefits. nice place to work.
Cons: contract job. it can end in a heartbeat.
I have been working as a contract IT specialist at the U.S. Department of Labor for the past 7 years. I administer network services and provide Level I, II, and III technical support to the Regional office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM). It has been a good job with a good salary and benefits. Acentia is a large – more... federal government contractor. My job is ending here in Philadelphia because of budget cutbacks. The Regional Administrator for the Labor Department has decided to hire one federal employee two replace two contractors. I was displaced out of the candidate pool due to federal government veteran and minority hiring preferences. – less
