Fun workplace
Program Counselor (Former Employee) –  Palo Alto, CAOctober 13, 2016
Co-workers and HR were very friendly. Nice and quiet atmosphere when the children are out of school.

The hardest part of the job was try to calm down a child when a tantrum occurred.

I would only recommend this job to people who have experience working with autistic children, and extremely patient.

The children will certainly get violent. So be prepared.

I learned about terrible management, unions, and bad leadership. However, my coworkers and peers were all amazing people that made the job meaningful and made for a collaborative environment.

Mental Health Therapist, Registered MFT Intern (Former Employee) –  San Jose, CAAugust 9, 2013
A typical day will include individual therapy sessions, group therapy session, and lots of collaboration with others in the treatment team including the on-site speech and occupational therapists and behavioral therapist. Additionally, interactions with the teachers and staff and the clients group homes and parents were quite valuable. There was also opportunity for involvement in the IEP process. This culminated in the strong learning environment for a therapist.
