Key Account Manager
Acor Orthopaedic, Inc., headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is a supplier and manufacturer of foot orthotics, diabetic shoes, comfort footwear, custom orthopedic shoes and orthotic materials, is comprised of pedorthists, orthotists, and prosthetists dedicated to the design and manufacturing of medical-grade footwear products.
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, in the assigned territory. Develops and implements agreed upon territory sales plan which will meet both personal and business goals. Develop and manage account relationships by providing the highest level of professionalism to all customers and prospects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Meet monthly sales and performance goals.
*Qualifies and generates leads by cold calling prospects; promotes company services and shows persistence in calling potential new customers.
*Responsible for developing client relationships and referrals.
*Develops a database of qualified leads in CRM through referrals, telephone canvassing, cold calling on prospects, direct mail, email, and networking.
*Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business influencers and decision makers.
*Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale, resulting in the taking of market share from competitors.
*Develops annual sales plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Sales Associate on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
*Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans in territory as needed.
*Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of CRM and Microsoft Outlook.
*Maintains regular contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
*Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
*3-5 year of sales experience and an understanding of sales techniques (to include cold calling, business development, direct sales, appointment setting and overcoming objections).
*A successful track record of goal achievement in a sales role.
*Experience selling medical/podiatric products a plus.
*Basic computer skills in windows-based programs and internet navigation.
*Occasional travel to meet with customers, attend trade shows and association meetings.
