Home Health Aide (Former Employee) – Carlisle, PA – February 7, 2018
Taking care of the elderly. Bathing, feeding, dressing, medication reminders, cleaning, shopping and appointments. The hardest part of the job was when one of my clients would pass away. The most enjoyable was listening to their stories.

a lot of wear and tear on your car plus gas cost and insurance..they do not pay enough and the first few weeks you're in town then they want to drive to Leroy or Chenoa a few times a week. They give minimal gas compensation and I had a small car that was good on gas but the miles the tires I went through. It's not worth it.I loved the people but felt so sorry for them because during orientation the comments so made...These were employees to hire not the managers but either way they heard what they said and let them into peoples homes anyway
HCA (Former Employee) – Kennewick, WA – February 2, 2018
Addus is a great place to work however there are a couple scheduling coordinators that lack management abilities and threaten to fire people that don't wish to take extra shifts or to fill in for other caregivers.

LVN HOME HEALTH CLINICIAN (Former Employee) – Chico, CA – January 18, 2018
The job was fun!! I enjoyed going into patients homes to provide 1on1 personal nursing care. Sometimes even the travel was fun because you meet so many new people that weren't able to leave their homes after a hospital stay, and to se them heal over weeks or months was wonderful!!
