Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) – Birmingham, AL – April 28, 2017
The technology is very dated at this place. Payroll is done through Excel spreadsheets and they still want you to do evaluations on your managers. When I got there they were using one small Dell screen for the inner office personnel. I convinced them that they needed two larger screens just to have all the applications open. We never used laptops, nothing was up-to-date environmentally. It was all very old school, lots of paper not a lot of paperless processes. They don't even provide Maternity leave.
Nice people, the supervisors are very good at their jobs.
The will to let an employee go when they need to be fired.
Each branch is different. I can honestly say that I loved working at ADS Security.
Job Work/Life Balance
I would not recommend taking a job with ADS

I started with ADS and I thought it was going to be a great place to work the people were friendly and everything was great I was making good money to start they send you to Nashville for training and it is a awesome experience they really build it up then when you get back after a month or two you're thrown to the wolves and they yank the carpet out from under you they do not give you a salary any longer you are strictly Commission I would not recommend taking a chance with this company you will as many others last about a year and be ready to quit
