Checked e-mails and updated insurance adjusters on the status of claims submitted or assigned. Wrote up supplemental settlement letters and answered customer service calls. The small environment made it a comfortable place to work with friendly and approachable employees. The hardest part of my job was dealing with customers if I didn't have the answer to their questions and also initially having to learn a new industry.

A High School Environment with no Benefits

This place is definitely not the place that one can retire from.Their tactic of keeping an employee is "weeding" out all the temps until they feel like they've found the right one from what another employee says. Management is never there, there is no real HR dept, and very unprofessional. A typical day would be answering phones from insureds regarding the status of their claim going over the same script given to you by management. They don't care about their employees well-being or the well-being of their insureds. As long as they can make a quick dollar that's all that matters! I occasionally heard management on the phone cursing out a couple insureds!!! There was no formal training for the job maybe a day and that was it. There are always changes here, according to how the "CEO" is feeling that day then that is what we would go by.

LOVE THE JOB ENVIRONMENT & THE MANAGERS

• Answering multi line phone system & giving Insured updated information about their claim.
• Assigning insurance adjusters to insurance claims
• Mailing out settlement letters & important documents
