Engineer Technician, Lancaster, PA - February 12, 2015
I would build and test projects as needed, order parts, approve drawings, and pick-up parts from machine shops. What I learned was how to manage several jobs at the same time. This can be difficult when I was working on several different technologies at one time. The Management was good in the beginning, but as they changed the structure of the company, the organization became disjointed and there were many managers in single areas. I really enjoyed my co-workers for several reasons. They are very knowledgeable in there area of work and willing to share and help when needed. I also appreciated that they enjoyed there work and liked to make the workplace a fun place to be. The hardest part of the job was the transition between projects. I would have spent two years on one project and I would have to change my thinking to something totally different. On the other hand successfully completing a project was very enjoyable.
