Pros: huge opportunity for personal & professional growth, 25 paid days off per year starting out, great flexibility
Cons: room to improve on training front line staff, but plenty of on-the-job training, cross-training, and manager support
I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to work hard at a rewarding job and grow professionally. This company has given me more opportunity to learn, grow, and advance than any organization that I have ever been a part of. They value work/life balance, and I have always had the time I needed for my family. They will ask you to work hard, – more... and you will get a raise if you deserve it. You will probably get promoted if you have the skills to do the job for which you are applying, but if you don't, you wont. I am sure that this is the case with every reputable employer, so you will go a long way if you have some sense and keep reasonable expectations.
There is tremendous opportunity with this company. I am currently on my fourth position with AHC, one lateral move and two promotions. They are eager to teach if you are eager to ask. As with most things you do in life, if you ask quality questions, you will get quality answers. I am given the opportunity to learn anything I want to know, but I have to know where to look! They constantly invest, financially and intellectually, in new leaders. I can't say enough good things about Advanced Home Care. – less
