Disorganized, unprofessional, incompetent and childish

Cons: disorganized, bad management, treats employees badly, no sick days.
This company is poorly managed and very unprofessional. The owners post ridiculous notes throughout the building ordering staff to behave one way or another (for example: "don't touch the walls") as well as elaborate "coffee rules". This would then be followed by threats via email to fire anyone who did not obey. Dismissal of employees for generic reasons – more... like "your performance isn't good enough" without so much as a review or any kind of verbal warning.
The company has no review structure. They don't even have an HR department. Everything is simply dictated by the owners. They would constantly shuffle staff around to different jobs and responsibilities. One time they moved this one staff member away from the co-workers she most needed to interact with to a completely different part of the building. I argued with the owner for a week over where was the best place to situate her. The owner put his foot down and told me to move her to a location that made no sense whatsoever. They fired her within a week of that.
Management would frequently dictate their decisions while ignoring my professional advice. So I was constantly executing their wishes that made no sense. Their decisions defied logic and they offered no explanation.
If you accept a position with this company, do not expect to be paid fairly. They do not pay overtime. And I don't just mean 1.5x or 2x pay, I mean if you work 82 hours, you will be paid for 80 hours. You can expect your wage to be below average as well.
Stay away from this company if you have a choice. – less
