Collection Technician (Current Employee) – Somerset, MA – April 16, 2013
Conducted Drug Screenings and communicate between client,CTC,and Aegis Management with billing and any other questions. I would follow the standard procedures for sample collections for the doctor's patient's ensuring the integrity of each “Chain of custody” and sample. Keeping records of hours and weekly samples collected. Not always a glamours job due to the fact that it is urine. :)
This company used to be an absolute amazing company to work for in the patient access dept. Now is a totally different story. Management is HORRIBLE. Specifically the patient access manager. She will talk down to you, she will lie to u and about u and she will try to bully you. HR has been made aware of the issues and refuse to do anything about it. I worked here for almost 7 years with very little turn over but since she has taken over they are leaving one right after another. She will not hire any decent help and they are always behind.
Pay is great, but you'll be expected to live your life for work only! Management was great, but not any more. Maybe if you removed certain management positions, then just maybe things could change for the better. Certain people think they know it all, but they sure don't want to help get the work done! HR has been made aware of issues with management staff (one likes to bully and talk down to you) and yet nothing is ever done... expect that you'll be the next out the door.
Billing and Coding Specialist (Former Employee) – Nashville, TN – January 8, 2017
learned a lot, management was very open and forthcoming. Even though most full time personnel worked from home and only came in once every two weeks they were all very friendly and helpful with any and all questions
too far for me to drive daily / temporary position
Collects urine and oral fluid specimens at a client site for the purpose of conducting scientific testing for the presence of prescribed and unprescribed medications and illicit drugs for reporting purposes
Forensic Special Chemist (Former Employee) – Nashville, TN – November 5, 2016
Good benefits and pay. Don't trust management, coworkers or HR...even the good ones have their hands tied for fear of losing their own jobs. The open door policy is a farce and a trap. Good science practices. Ever-changing work environment. No work/life balance. Unrealistic expectations. Reactive culture. No union. Keep record of every interaction, and make sure there are witnesses....won't help you while you're there but may help when you leave.
Never a dull moment, I've learned Accounting and process of improvement skills. Management is a bit of Mirco Managers. Co-workers are pleasant to work around. Most enjoyable part of job is getting the vendors paid in a timely manner.
Have learned and become proficient in many aspects of working in a GCP environment. From bench work to analysis to writing SOPs, there is no shortage in the array of techniques that can be built in the BioPharma laboratory.
Accountant (Former Employee) – Nashville, TN – July 22, 2016
The accounting manager has no clue what she is doing. Do not take this job. You will be the scape goat. Everyone is nice, but ultimately years of mistakes will be pushed to you and you will not have the right authority to correct the issues due to the accounting manager. Run!!!
Good learning experience and worked for a wonderful Regional Manager who was always there for me and provided great training on a continual basis. Very flexible hours and I was placed with a very good provider.
