member service rep (Former Employee), Omaha, NENovember 10, 2014
Pros: management, culture, pay, challenging
Cons: n/a
Found me quick employment through TD Ameritrade. Love the culture and management there. I learned a lot about the finance industry. I would chat with clients daily as well as make out bound calls. These conversations were a broad variety and helping the customer with account opening, bringing their money to the firm, and assisting with pretty much anything – more... or routing the call if I could not assist the member. – less

Customer Care Representative (Former Employee), Albany, NYNovember 6, 2014
I tried to transfer to the staffing agency in Atlanta. They were very unprofessional. They were not willing to help with job placement. I have worked for Aerotek for a year. I was a great employee for the company. The Office in Albany Ny was AWESOME. They are definitely Representation for Aerotek. The office in Albany NY is persistent and consistent – more... about finding you job placement. The Atlanta office didnt even reach out about job placement and I have over 7 years of customer service experience. So I know for sure that I have the experience and I great recommendation for the Albany office and the company that I worked as of other professional references. I just was not impressed with Aerotek Altlanta office. – less

Nice contractor to work for if you are seeking longer employment and are in the scientific field.
Project Administration Technician (Former Employee), Kalamazoo, MINovember 5, 2014
Pros: paid holidays (6days), length of contracted employement
Cons: lack of communication, continual change in manaagement.
Due to the nature of the business there were no typical days. At any given time your priorities will change due to issues like production, materials, equipment, etc.. This offers a great challenge to the average contractor. If you are not educated in the pharmaceutical or chemistry industry, you will consistently learn something new, however one must – more... be a learner, motivated and maintain a thirst for knowledge.

Each Manager has there own management style.

Co-workers, when possible are allowed to cross-train to cover absences and appointments. Employees of the above company are view as a Team even though each contractor performed different duties, covering a variety of levels of expertise and knowledge. – less

Warehouse Worker (Shipping & Receiving/QA) (Former Employee), Roseville, CANovember 5, 2014
Pros: met good people
Cons: too much favoritism at the time
I did like because I met some good friends their, and the work was easy to learn. It hard to move up because there is always going to be some one that has senority over you to get that job. I try to some of those jobs but I didn't have the qualifications to get the job.

The staffing service needs to conduct pre-employment back ground checks. Even if the applicant reveals their back ground, the applicant will be let go even after they start the actual job.

Recruiters only care about themselves
Machinist (Former Employee), Lancaster, CANovember 3, 2014
Cons: low pay, no communication, paid for my own ppe
I was working a temp position for another company. It wasn't the greatest job and I was temporary with no hope of being permanent but it was a regular paycheck and I was there as long as I wanted the job. Aerotek called me and offered me a position at another company that would pay more. After quitting my first temp job I found I was going go be working – more... for less than they promised. The supervisor promised my pay would be reevaluated after I proved my abilities. It never was. I later found I was assigned to a seasonal position and the assigned company began to do layoffs. I then asked for a my pay to be reevaluated and that I be paid according to my abilities and I was laid off. This is my second time working for Aerotek. My first wasn't much better as no one communicated with me then either. I will not be dealing with this company anymore and am considering a lawsuit from the details I have not mentioned. – less
