I enjoyed working for Affinion Group of Franklin, TN. I met some incredible people and learned a lot about the company.

Upper management suffers from favoritism, hard work does not result in promotions only going to happy hours and brown-nosing are favored for advancement.

Very stressful and constant lay offs. Management rules by fear. Coworkers are hard working. Hardest part is the constant change of direction.

When answering the phone and interacting with the customer it was the greatest part of my day because when the phone rings you never knew who would be on the other line ie grumpy grandpa, or that one person that will make your whole day. During breaks in the call volume was a great time to catch up with what new with your friends

I greatly enjoyed my time spent at Affinion Group. In my role as HR Associate, I dealt with a number of tasks on a daily basis. Those included recruiting, benefits administration, leave administration, FMLA training, recruiter development, consulting with management on policies and procedures and employee relations.

Learning Values to assist customers with insurance and other products associated with service

If you want to learn, work hard, you can do really well. But you need to be smart and savvy. You will not get far if you don't stretch yourself to excel and if you don't pay attention to the political environment. Great office location and environment. Great co- workers.

Job was challenging and everyday was different but the pay wasn't very good and very little room for advancement.

Clock in and grab claims to process. Learn many different types of database to process the claims properly and efficently. The management is very well at assisting and giving feed back on your progress in work. Co worker are also nice and work together as a team. Affinion is a great workplace with a lot of room to grow in the company. the management is always concerned with the well being of the employees. Its a very stress free environment, the thing I like the most about the job is the potential to grow. We have great benefits. I worked with wonderful co-workers and Mangers. This was the most enjoyable part of the job.

In the IT world, there is insane amounts of stress due to a huge number of band-aid fixes combined with managements "need it done NOW" attitude with disregard for existing projects and a refusal to pay for system upgrades. Pay is pretty good, plus all full time employees (usually) get an annual bonus and plenty of PTO time. Many good people leaving – more... because they can't take it any more. Everyone always plays the "blame game". Pay/benefits are not worth the stress for more than a year. ALL departments are incredibly understaffed. – less

it was my first job when I came back to Columbus, it was okay for a starter job

assisting members with credit report questions and concerns. Co workers are respectable and easy to get along with, the most enjoyable part of the day, is making a member happy by assisting their every needs

The morale was always down due to the fact that your'e always worried about layoffs. Human Resources and Management does not support the employees. They worry about themselves. I don't know how they sleep at night. I recommend working somewhere else since your days will be numbered. No loyalty at all. The most enjoyable part of the job was trying to help people resolve their issues with their accounts, and issue credits and re-imbursements.

This company was excellent to work for. Not only were the benefits great, but there were a lot of perks that focused on employee happiness. There were days where an ice cream truck would pull up and deliver ice cream to all of the employees!
