Dental Assistant (Former Employee), Albany, NY – October 12, 2014
Pros: do whatever you want in downtime
Cons: awful boss
Awesome job, as long as the staff likes you. The dr in the office I was working in was really nice, until the next new girl comes in. After that, oh lord! it was HORRIBLE!! The Dr put her hands on me, made me cry more than once, etc. Another employee tried to have something done about the dr via corporate, and nothing. Not one thing was done other than – more... her being told how to cover her butt! Ugh. – less
Front Desk Assistant (Current Employee), Monroe, LA – September 23, 2014
The place of business is a great place to work. The staff is a great team and have learn various expectations in the dental field. The management is not at great standards but the company benefits are great but the unlikely thing about the job it that the raises are not good as they should be and promotions are not available.
Front Desk Assistant (Former Employee), Wichita Falls, TX – August 24, 2014
Pros: friendly patients and co-workers
Cons: doctors values
Affordable Dentures was a good learning experience in how to deal with all types of patients. They was some issues with difficult staff that were understanding of the differences in the patients. I learned a lot from working there and will continue to appreciate the opportunity to work there.
extern (Former Employee), Sun City, AZ – August 20, 2014
Pros: good communication
Everyday began with a goal, which was to attend to all patients scheduled for that specific day, this included from tray set ups and impressions to even surgical extractions. The best part of working with affordable dentures was seeing the patients entire self esteem change from having a great smile.
Dental Assistant Externship (Former Employee), Phoenix, AZ – April 11, 2014

Front Desk Auxilary (Former Employee), Amarillo, TX – March 26, 2014
Pros: good holidays, mostly happy patients, all employees got along
All was good until new doctor and management team took over. Management team was not impartial and sided with the doctor on all subjects. Both sides of the story were never asked because the management team was so desperately trying to keep a doctor in the office at all costs. I was eventually terminated because the management team (who wasn't even – more... in the office full time and only came from out of state if necessary) knew I knew the doctor had untreated mental issues. I would gladly take my job back now that the unstable doctor is gone and hopefully the management team sees I was telling the truth. – less

Dental Lab Technician/Dental Assistant (Former Employee), Columbus GA – February 22, 2013
Pros: schedule, laid back enviroment
Cons: being letting go
Working at Affordable Dentures was a new experience for me. Before this job I was used to a manufacturing enviroment and the denture lab was much more laid back and slower paced. I enjoyed the 8-5, M-F schedule. My employment ended here because the business slowed down drastically with the bad economy.
Dental Assistant (Former Employee), Sarasota, FL – February 9, 2013
I really loved working there I traveled 2 hrs a day back and forth to go to work there.I was never late always the first one to arrive setting up the treatment rooms for the doctor. Loved working with patients Worked for a great Dr. and then he was transferred to another office on the other coast of Florida and when the new Dr. came to the practice – more... he eventually replaced the staff with new people. Fast paced office but i never complained about working late was always willing to do whatever it took to accommodate the patient and doctor.
