Pros: good pay when earning, good people, time flies.
Cons: long hours, bad pay if bad day, door to door sales.
A typical day of work would begin by going into "impacts" these were run by Leaders and they would help you get a better understanding of the job and what they do, around afternoon time everyone would split off into their sectors and go to "territory" this is where we would begin pitching until around 8pm. I learned many valuable skills during my time – more... at AIP e.g I can now distinguish the line between having fun and being professional and improved my interpersonal skills, i learned that good customer service has to be worked for, no customers are exactly the same. The Management and my Co- workers were very good as i had a healthy relationship with them, i didnt think i would make friends as easily as i did, everybody there except the odd couple were brilliant to work with and for. the hardest part of my job was being able to pull a result as it was a commission paid job i found that it got harder and harder to stay motivated if i wasnt getting the results i needed, The most enjoyable part of the job was the feeling of being recognized for a hard days work. – less
