We are immediately hiring a full time Technical Project Manager with strong technical skills to join our team. In this role, you will be coordinating and driving the development of native iOS and Android mobile apps and our mobile platform to our Fortune 1000 media clients. You will be working with our development team to manage the app development process, be directly involved with QA testing, issues tracking, and ensure our apps are launched on time with the highest level of quality available.

An ideal candidate would be a Project Manager with 3+ years of directly managing native mobile app development projects, has demonstrated responsibility and success throughout the project management lifecycle, including gathering product requirements and use cases, assist in creating design concepts and defining product user interface, has a strong understanding of iOS and/or Android mobile app development in order to work closely with development team to communicate changes, perform QA tests and launch software products. The candidate will be well organized, takes initiative, prioritizes well, is accustomed to multi-tasking and has a strong sense of timely completion of tasks.


AirKast is a growing Silicon Valley based mobile platform and advertising network company, with a sales office in NYC, providing an industry leading mobile publishing solution to many of the top radio broadcaster groups and media companies. With nearly 1,000 radio station customers, our clients include Disney, ESPN, Bloomberg, DirecTV, Univision, and many other premiere broadcaster and media companies.

The AirKast mobile platform, with its support for audio, video, text and graphics content, helps its media and radio broadcaster customers deeply engage their audiences on mobile devices. With the company’s large mobile audience base, it is aggressively pursuing growth from the monetization and advertising programs for its publisher network.


*Primary responsibilities include: creating project plans and estimating project timelines and resource requirements, assist in creating design concepts and defining product user interface, work closely with development team to communicate changes, perform QA tests, and launch software products on time and with the highest quality available

*Monitor and track all project statuses and deadlines and provide updates to management and customers as required

*Weekly reporting on projects progress, risk mitigation and issues need to be made aware to senior management

*Communicate with internal groups to ensure that any obstacles to timely project completion are addressed quickly and appropriately

*Written and verbal communications and coordinating changes between technical teams and non-technical customers and stakeholders

*Assist in testing of company’s platform of iPhone and Android app framework for functional and technical accuracy, and work with developers to resolve technical issues that may arise

*Work with developers, testers, and operations during implementation to effectively resolve final identified bugs and drive final release builds into production and submission


*3+ years experience in a technical project management role with iOS and Android mobile app projects

*Strong understanding of iOS and/or Android native mobile app development are essential

*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other technical-related degree preferred. Candidates with non-technical degrees with demonstrated experience in native mobile app development will also be favorably considered

*Strong communication and collaboration skills both internally and externally, with the ability to influence key decision makers regarding important product and technology issues

*High degree of competency and experience with project management including: issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status

*Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology issues

*Experience with the full SDLC and shipping software using Agile methodologies

*Experience managing projects involving 3rd party vendor teams with geographic separation

*Ability to perform QA tests and provide feedback and fixes to developers

*Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic work environment
