I loved my job, I love to travel and am an extreme people person. The hardest part of the job was not being able to please everyone no matter how much you try. Awesome company to work for.

I enjoyed working for this company. It provided an excellent benefit package. Management was eccentric. My co-workers were very down-to-earth, easy-going individuals. The job conditions were based upon climate. The most enjoyable part of the day was the last hour of work.

The most enjoyable part of my job was to interact with a lot of people like vendors, deliver guys, visitors and co-workers. I learn how to operate machines like a sorter, postage machine, FedEx Powership, computers.

I learned that mergers can be very stressfull.

I appreciated the opportunity given by the team, allowing me obtain management experience with little to no prior experience.

Gave a great opportunity to work more hours than scheduled outside of your set schedule.

I really like the job I just wish the pay was a little more. Great use of teamwork on unloading and loading the aircrafts.

I enjoyed working for this company. The company was smart, in my opinion, by cross training the employees. This insures that the company get the most for their money. Not only that with the shift swap policy the employees have little problem balancing work and life. On the down side I didn't see the company extending much concern for the employees when – more...  is came to their personal affairs when/ if it effected work. The employees where generally left to choose between work and home if any situation ever surfaced. Thankfully, the company did leave management to deal with any affairs in their station and that is were we revived a more human side of the company. – less

AirTran is a wonderful place to work. They have great benifits along with that you get flight benifits as well and they also extend this to your parents and children. If you are one that like to have a lot of time off you can have your cake here for you are allowed to swap off your shift as much as your want and you can also pick up as many shifts as – more...  you would like. – less

AirTran is a excellent company to have been apart of. They are now in the process of becoming one with Southwest Airlines

Was my first experience working with an airline, was pretty overwhelming in the beginning but I learned a lot about city codes, details of the planes, and the level of responsibility each employee has that works the ramp and as a gate agent

My time at AirTran was full of learning and innovation. A company culture that believes in allowing its employees to grow and encouraging mobility throughout the company. I learned a great deal while at AirTran and appreciated the flexibility for experimentation and new ideas.

Loved it! If my schedule would permit I would go back in a heartbeat! Every company has something you're not gonna like but AirTran definitely has more PROS than CONS.

loved that i wasnt in one location the my entire shift,such a exciting enviorment meeting people of all cultures learing how to manuver the aircraft for inbound and outbound departures
