Office Staff (Former Employee) – San antonio – February 2, 2017
Good place to start and get some experience under your belt but dont get comfortable. Management has its favorites, expect to work crazy hours in the summer, and be micro managed in some departments. Staff also seem to get layed off annualy around the slow season for little to no reason.
I love everything about the job, the supervisors are awesome and you are held accountable for your actions not for what someone else does. You will drive all over Texas but its keeps money coming from the jobs you get. Love my job
great managemnt, communication lines, benefits are awesome
Purchasing Administrator (Former Employee) – San Antonio, TX – November 27, 2016
Overall it is a decent job. The coworkers are somewhat spiteful and immature but management is very professional. The pay can be good if you are a good employee and the benefits are amazing! They have an excellent 401k program. The work is stressful and very busy in the summer but that is the industry and to be expected. If you can handle that and don't mind not having a life in the summer then it is a good job.
Start-up and Test and Balance Technician (Current Employee) – San Antonio, TX – March 6, 2016
Airtron is a great place to work. Management is friendly and always willing to go out of their way to accommodate their employees. Benefit package is great as is the 401k package. Airtron has top notch training program.
HVAC SERVICE MANAGER (Former Employee) – Mission, TX – February 2, 2016
Had company meetings. Did wide spread of work. Did service on residential, commercial, and mobile home units. Kept busy year round. Would get totake company vehcile home. Would keep track of invoices and turn in on timely manner. Kept track of truck stock.
Learned a variety of values, how to use different types of equipment. Meet all kinds of people.Great staff, managers. Very nice to their employees, with proper training. MAny long hours you were able to work.
You will start at 7 am and will not get home till 10 pm. I learned more at this company than any where else. More of which not to do when installing an air conditioner. Managers don't care they just want the builders off their backs so only production. Co workers never saw each other unless it was a meeting and usually someone was fired. The hardest part was being away from my new wife we never saw each other. The most enjoyable part was coming to the office early to talk to the guy that makes sure you have everything you need.
Data Entry (Current Employee) – San Antonio, TX – September 25, 2012
Have a lot of great people to work with. Managment is nice and they don't micromanage which is good. Learned how to code invoices, and process them. Don't like that they don't have a break room to eat lunch or any drink machines.
