At 6am I would open the building shutdown alarm system turn on computers check the fax machine for any after hours fax phone warehouse manager for updates and any changes that may need to be made to the agenda that was left for me or last minute changes such as priority loads an there orders.Then instruct employees as they arrive as to there duties for the day check freezer statis temps/alarms from overnight complete report also take an outside walk to check the building/trailers for visual inspection.Take inventory and forward report to the department heads that need this info at the start of there day,check employees statis making sure there peforming the task that were issued and assist in equipement checks and safety procedures.Walk to the operations manager's office and give a report on the what the schedule is for the day and check with CSR via e-mail to see if there's any last minute instructions on loads inbound/outbound,check all e-mails and respond as needed to any customer or client issues that needs addressing immediately.
