Unique teaching opportunity working with dedicated educators supported by other members of our organization to reach a common goal.
Nutrition Education Teacher, Project E.A.T (Current Employee) –  Hayward, CAMarch 20, 2013
Provided nutrition education classes for kindergarten through sixth grade students in an outdoor garden classroom. Our team of teachers actively participate in development, teaching, and evaluation of curriculum tied to Common Core Standards. The most challenging part of the job is adapting to the ever changing garden/weather making adjustments with curriculum materials as needed to present the most engaging lessons for students. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing the positive impact I have on the approximately 1,000 students I have the pleasure teaching during the year!
